LighterLife Week 14 – hit one target missed another

My loss seems to have settled to 3-4 pounds per week now and I’m very happy with that. It’s fairly consistent and still better than any other diet around.

My loss this week was 3.3lbs and this meant I hit one of my targets for this week which was the 80lb lost barrier. Total loss now is 80.2lbs since I started. I also came very close to a second target this week of 25% of my original body weight lost. “Only”" made it to 24.3% lost this week so that’s a target for next week.

I’ve also got a fairly good idea of how much longer I’m going to be in abstinence and can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I reckon on another 6 weeks of abstinence before I start the route to management, I have 1 st 8 lbs left until I get to my target of 16st 4lbs. That also means I should be 3-4 weeks into RTM come Christmas so I won’t be missing out on all of Christmas dinner.

My LighterLife counselor took my measurements again last night even though it’s only been 2 weeks since they were taken as she though that my shape had changed again, and it had.

I lost another 1” from my chest, 2” from my waist and 1" from my 2 weeks!. And to confirm this I had a couple of new pairs of jeans delivered today and these are a 38" waist (I started at 44" waist) and they fit! :-D I may even get into 36" waist trousers by the time I've finished.

More and more people are commenting on my weight loss now and I like that it's being noticed. I've been told I'm looking gaunt or that I'm fading away and this is all proof it's making a difference. I know that I'm not gaunt though, just thinner. When I start eating again and toning up I'll look a lot better.

I'm still being told I've lost enough and can't possibly have another stone to lose and this gets a bit frustrating now as I know there's still a lot of fat around my tummy and thighs but because I'm very tall it's concealed very well. This is the same reason that people didn't realise I was 23st 8lbs to start with.

I have a target that I set right at the start and I'm determined that for once in my life I'm going to hit a target. It means I will have a healthy BMI for the first time in decades. I fully expect my weight to increase slightly when as I go through Route To Management as I will be toning up at the same time. I eventually want to settle on a weight that sits somewhere between 16.5-17 stone.
