I made it through the camping weekend completely intact and not once did I feel the need to break the diet. There was lots of eating a drinking but I kept my glass filled with sparkling water.
I did do a lot of cooking with a barbecue on Friday evening and two lots of cooked breakfasts an it really did help. It kept me busy and stopped me longing for food. Overall I'm really proud of myself and I know if I can get through that I can get through anything.
I made a decision right at the beginning of the weekend that I didn't want to tell anyone what I was doing and didn't want to get into any discussions about it, I just wanted a relaxing weekend. So I told everyone I was getting over a stomach bug and detoxing. I feel a bit guilty lying to some close friends but after that last two weeks I just wanted to get on with it and stop talking about it. If anyone from the weekend is reading this, I apologise for lying but I hope you understand.
