I have a hunch that our Dyson Contrarotator Washing machine has a fault.
We bought it in January 2004 and it's a great machine. The huge drums mean we can get loads in there and the clothes always come out clean.
However! In the last few months I've noticed more and more of my clothes have tiny little holes in them. The holes are all the same size, usually about 5 or 6mm in diameter and appearing as separate holes dotted all over the place. I've noticed it more in things like t-shirts and socks. Usually cotton clothes.
I now suspect the washing machine as there's no way I can "snag" a brand new t-shirt on the side as I'd know I'd done it. Very little in our house gets ironed and we're not using the tumble dryer at this time of year which means I has to be the washing machine.
But how do I prove it? An how can I get Dyson to take it seriously. Watch this space.....
