Wot no kids

Hurrah, no kids tonight. They're staying at Granny and Grampys tonight and tomorrow (it's half term). Katie and I have just had a very nice meal at a local pub and it's the first meal out we've had this year with just the 2 of us. It's sad that we're so tired and not up for a nights clubbing anymore :-)

I have to admit I'm quite envious that Garan is off to Canada soon snowboarding. I'm not that into winter sports but would quite like to visit Canada. We've not been abroad on holiday since December 2000 when Kira was just 9 months old. This is mainly because it's so expensive to go anywhere when you're limited to going during school holidays. You can at least double if not triple the cost by travelling during the holidays. This is why we go camping.

Still feeling generally much better at the moment. I know there's a huge amount of work coming up that will involve some late nights and weekends but I can handle that. Getting the occasional anxiety "twinge" every now and then but it's all manageable. I've stopped taking the sleeping tablets now and am getting about 7 hours of sleep a night. It's not unbroken but is more than I was getting a few weeks back. Not clock watching definately helps too.
