The girls are getting very excited for Christmas and can't wait to see what Santa will bring them. If you're reading this Santa, they've been very good most of the time and only a little bit naughty (so not too much coal!) ;-) Rhian would like a new bike or a Badge-It (whatever that is). Kira would like a baby annabel doll.
I'm starting to feel more Christmassy now. Katie bought the Turkey yesterday, all of the shopping is now done and I've done as much as I can at work before Christmas so I can relax a little bit now. Even if I wanted to do more, I couldn't as nearly everyone I've been dealing with has finished for Christmas already.
We got friends coming over for dinner on Christmas Day which I'm looking forward too as I find I'm more relaxed around friends than I am with families. Things always get unnecessarily tense with families over Christmas as everyone tries too hard. Sadly my Dad can't make it down now (long story) so we may not see him until the new year.
Diet was put on hold a few weeks ago and I've stayed pretty level at 19st 7lbs which is a total of 3 1/2st lost this year or 49lbs (sounds more that way). I will start this back up in the new year with a slightly more realistic target. I reckon I can get down to at least 18st.
I guess this is a good point to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and prosperous new year.
