August/Sept are usually bad months for our business as everyone goes on holiday and response rates to bulletins plummet. It doesn't stop people pointing the finger at the network though, accusing it if not working properly. If people point long enough and hard enough then you start to believe them and start doubting your systems.
I've spent the last few days trying to find why our network is so slow and have come to the conclusion that it isn't. There's just not much traffic coming back in. This has caused a few worries for me and has tested my ability to keep focusing and not let them develop intof ull blown anxiety attacks. Deep breathing works, as does just leaving it alone for a few minutes and not "stewing" over it. If I recall, we had the same concerns this time last year.
To make sure we're better prepared for these sorts of concerns I'm trying to find ways of improving our monitoring and reporting so we have hard evidence that everything is working as it should.
