You're talking RSS

You've probably seen the RSS logos and XML logos on the right of this blog dotted around the Internet by now and are wonder what on earth is that all about.

Well, instead of going and viewing all your favourite sites to see if they've been updated, you can just add the RSS "feed" to a reader of your choice (I'm currently testing NewsGator which adds feeds straight into Outlook). Then just like your email program notifies you of new emails, the reader will notify you of new posts.

There are millions of RSS and XML enabled websites including the BBC, The Register and of course lots and lots of blogs, including this one.

Want a list of feeds? Google is your friend.
